Back To The Track!

Last week Fox Meadow Downs was a flurry of activity. The track was open a week prior to last Saturday's great, first race of the season. The horses ran in the PJF Memorial Race. And one of our retiring racers, Baton Rouge, took part in his last race before retirement. His grooms lovingly made a video of him training before his final race.

Our new superstars of the track, Lethal Weapon and Delta Dawn, have been doing well in this season. Delta has shown some serious girl power while Lenny has been a bit behind. But we're going to see what the rest of the season holds.

Enjoy Baton Rouge's own video, A Day In The Life Of A Racehorse! Also special thanks to Brenda of Life In The Desert. She gave me a few ideas on how to make this video and I'd like to take the time to thank her. Please go check out her blog, Life In The Desert, it's got some great posts and lots of cool information about the current horse world plus awesome breyer stuff.
Thanks for taking the time to read! Also please remember, a great equine member of our stables, Ferris Buller, is up for sale. Any one with a barn account on instagram should grab this guy fast! Offers are accepted and he'll do well in MHTV Events. And if you show him as a TB he might even win a few Breyer Racing Society races!  Update: Ferris has found his forever home! Have a great weekend!
